The Library, a largest block in the ground floor is very spacious and measures 640 sq.m. with adequate reading facilities for 200 students at a time. It has an excellemt collection of books and journals both Indian and foreign to meet the demands of students upto research level. The library is equipped with bar-code technology for computerised circulation system since 2000.

Library Rules

• All staff and students are members of the college library.
• The library will be kept open on all working days and saturdays from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m.
• All categories of users have bar coded identy card.
• Library books will be issued only on presentation of the library cards. Only one book will be issued per card. Reference books and journals will not be lent out.
• Internet service is also provided to the users.
• In case the card is lost, the librarian must be informed of the loss immediately in writing. A duplicate card may be issued on payment of Rs.25/-.
• Books will be issued in the afternoon and return of books will be accepted in the forenoon.
• Members shall retain the books for fifteen days from the date issue. However, the librarian reserves the right to recall the books any time.
• If a book is not returned on the library on the due date or when recalled, a fine of Re.1/-per day will be levied.
• All books must be returned to the library four days before the closure of each semester.
• In case a borrowed book is lost the latest price of the book will be collected from the defaulter with other charges if any.
• Strict silence must be observed in the library.

Book Bank

The Book Bank provides text books to the poor and deserving students every semester. The students are allowed to keep the books for one semester.

     12 CCTV cameras to be fixed inside the library in order to maintain discipline and to avoid       misplacement, mutilation and theft of books in library.
