One Day Workshop
One day workshop on “Personality Development”
was organized in our college campus on 17th Feb 2011.
Mr. C. Parivallal M.E., Director, DMW,
Perundurai shared his innovative ideas about the optimistic
thoughts and self confidence.

Our Student T.Mohana Sundari won
the first prize in 100m and second prize in long jumb
in coimbatore zonal athletic meet held in Dr.N.G.P college
of education conducted by Tamilnadu Teachers Education
University, Chennai.
Our students participated in inter collegiate competition
“Saratha Fiesta 2011” conducted by Sri Saratha
College of Education on 12.12.2010. V. Divya won the
first prize in skit writing and third prize in pencil
sketching. D. Poongodhai won the second
prize in skit writing. K. Priya won
the first prize in mehandi competition.
K. Sowmiya and S. Ramya were
issued the participation certificates.
24 of our students participated in the exam conducted
by Gandhi Study Center on “My Experiments with
truth” on 31.1.2011 which was held on our college
premises. All the participants received the participation
certificates.
41 students participated in our National Youth day
competitions conducted by Ramakrishna madam in Chennai.
Our student K. Sowmya won the first
prize in chess competetion conducted by Vinayaka Vidhayalaya
College of Education on 27th January 2010.

person on 7 th January 2010 in the state level seminar.
- Dr.G.Singaravelu, Reader, UGC -
ASC, Bharathiyar University,Coimbatore, took the chair
for one session in the state level seminar on 7 th
January 2010 .
- Dr.T.Padmanaban, Vice Chancellor,
Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai,
on fourth graduation ceremony, 9 th September 2010.
- Dr.A.R. Veeramani, Registrar, Tamil
Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, on fifth
graduation ceremony, 18 th April 2011.
A state level seminar on “Daunting
challenges in quality education” was
conducted on 7th January 2010. Dr.Jayakumar,
Controller of examinations,Tamilnadu Teachers Education
University, Chennai inaugurated the seminar. Thiru
S.D Chandrasekar, Secretary, Vellalar Educational
Trust released the seminar souvenir. More than 15
deligates from various colleges and universities presented
papers on various themes.
National Level workshop on "Recent Trends
in Research Methods" was conducted on
4th February 2011. Dr. Ananthasayanam,
Professor and Head, Department of Educational Technology,
Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and Dr.K.Nirmala,
Professor and Head, Department of Education, Periyar
University, Salem acted as a resource persons. 200
deligates from Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karanataka, Andrapradesh
were participated in the work shop.
