HOSTELS       

Separate Hostel for Boys and Girls with all possible amenities and quite enjoyable quality of Pleasant life for the students at the Institute.
The Internet Facility is available in the Ladies Hostel Computer Centre.
The total Strength is 540 (i.e. Boys 180 and Girls 360) excluding the Deputy Wardens and Other Staff members.

MEDICAL FACILITIES       
The Deputy Wardens are taking care about the inmate of both the Hostels. A Hygienic food and mineral water are being supplied in the Hostel Mess, so that the Students could maintain good health always. However, the following medical facilities are available.
I. Some Doctors are authorized to give the Treatment to the Students and Staff members.
II. Needy Hostel students and Staff members can have Consultation & Treatment, as and when required.
III. Pickup vans are available in the Trust Transport Department to meet the emergency cases.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION       

As the Maximum goes “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body”, VCET provides immense opportunity to the students to prove their Skills and prowess in Sports and Games.
Sports man is “person who can take loss or defeat with out complaint or Victory without gloating and who treats his opponents with fairness, generosity, curtsey etc”.

AUDITORIUM       
A beautiful Auditorium with Multimedia projector is available in our campus for conducting Campus Interviews, National Level Symposium, Conferences, and Seminars etc.
In this Auditorium, we could accommodate more than 2500 students.

CONFERENCE HALL       

Apart from above a Conference Hall with multimedia Projector and with A/C is available in the main Building for conducting association activities, mini conferences and seminars, etc. In this conference Hall, we could accommodate a maximum of 400 Students.

CAFETERIA       

A Separate cafeteria is available to cater the needs and wants of VCET Students.
Telephone Booth and Xerox centre, Stationary stores are available in the Canteen Premises.

BANK       
A BANK OF BARODA has its Branch at THINDAL with, in the Campus for the Convenience of both Staff and Students, besides t he local Public. They can avail the Banking Facilities and ATM by opening a SB Account.

TRANSPORT       

Trust provides 11 buses to VCET for the Transport of the Day-Scholar Students and Staff members. Our College Buses with in the radius of 60 KMs covering the placesArachalur, Bhavani, Chennimalai, Gobi, Sivagiri, Tiruchencode, Komarapalayam, Appakudal, Kangeyam, Tiruppur and Kodumudi. A Nominal fee is collected towards the Bus fare from the Students and Staff members on the Basis of their boarding point.
In addition to this, a large number of State Transport Corporation and private buses are plying from both the directions.

INTERNET       

Internet facility has been established for browsing, file transfer, limited distance learning, high – end graphics, etc., for the students and staff members. This facility is extended to Ladies hostel computer centre also.
The college has merged with the information super highway with the provision of internet facilities during working hours and it is also available to cater the needs of the students after working hours.
The student and faculty enjoy unlimited internet access of BSNL 10 Mbps Leased Line and additional 4 Mbps of BSNL Broadband Connection.

LIBRARY       

The VCET Library is fully computerized using an integrated multi-user library system that is developed and maintained by CAMPES iLIB.
The package supports all in-house operations of the Library. The system consists of modules on book procurement, technical processing, circulation and OPAC. Bibliographic records of complete book collection in the Library are available in the Library database and are accessible through the Library OPAC.
The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day-to-day basis with details of recently acquired books through the book acquisition module. The records of students automatically get transferred to the Library's patron database as soon as they get their identity cards. The records for other eligible members are created when they apply for the membership of the Library.
The CAMPES iLIB software is now working in LAN environment of SQL server.
The entire collection and services in the Library are searchable through the Library Web OPAC. Sufficient numbers of PCs are placed in the user's area to access Web-based OPAC.

COLLECTION OF BOOKS       
The Library has been developed with an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities and management. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Bound volumes of journals, Theses, Study Room Books and Technology Lending Library Book Collection, Video CDs, Audio Cassettes and Compact Discs.

REFERENCE SERVICE       
The Research Section contains research and reference tools such as Atlases, Bibliographies, Biographical Dictionaries, Data books, Dictionaries (General and Special), Directories, Encyclopedias, Gazetteers, Guides to literature, Handbooks, Maps, and Thesauri etc. All queries about research problems and scientific information should be addressed to this section.

AUDIO VISUAL PROGRAMME       

The Library also maintains a Video Work Station for screening technical video films. Presently more than 100 video films and 700 subject-oriented compact discs are available in the library.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE       
The Administrative office has been well established and headed by a well experienced Manager and Associated by a Dy.Manager, Senior Accountants, Programmers, Stenos, Junior Assistants and Office Assistants. The parent can easily get the details of their wards through “Campus E-Portal”.
