ADMISSION PROCEDURE & CRETERIA & WEIGHTAGES
FOR ADMISSIONS

65% seats admissions
through counseling & remaining 35% seats
through Management which includes NRI Admissions,
etc.
-
Management admissions
are also made purely on merit basis.

State Government Entrance
Examination marks & Qualifying Examination
marks are calculated for cut-off marks and
followed for both admissions.
-
For Management category
admissions, the applications are invited
before two weeks at the starting period
of State Govt. counseling, with last date
for submission of application & a)collected
the applications with cut-off marks , b)display
the rank list of the candidates c) the list
of candidates selected for admissions &
waiting list are displayed in the notice
board. In future, the list will be published
in our website also.
The candidates who want to
withdraw their admissions may inform their willingness
on or before the stipulated date of State Govt.,
will be refunded a percentage of amounts from
their payments as per State Government norms.

TamilNadu Common Entrance
Test for Govt. Quota seats and Common Entrance
Test (CET) conducted by consortium of Self-Financing
Colleges for Management Quota seats.

65% of seats under TANCET
and the remaining 35% of seats under CET
as per the govt. norms.
-
For Govt. Quota admission,
the candidates are allotted seats after
the Central Counseling conducted by the
Govt. for Management Quota admission, the
candidates are selected based on their score
secured by them in the Common Entrance Test
Conducted by the Consortium of Self –
Financing Colleges Associations.
- M.E. Courses:
i) Appeared for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance
Test to get admission through counselling.
ii) 100% of seats surrendered for TANCA 2006
counselling and the lapsed seats will be filled
liberally, if they have appeared in TANCET
2006 or not and the candidates should have
qualified in UG is enough.
