Recently the CUIC, Anna University and Wipro Technologies conducted a five-day residential workshop at our campus on faculty empowerment benefiting 32 staff members, including 15 members from nearby colleges such as ESEC, MPNMJ and Nandha Engineering college in Erode district.

Mission10X, the not for profit Trust established by Wipro, focuses on enhancing the employability of fresh graduates by bringing about systemic changes in collaboration with the Academia to the current teaching-learning paradigms followed in engineering colleges across the country.It involves a layered set of capability building workshops to help engineering faculty nurture talent pool across the country. It will be launched in a phased manner across the country. The aim is to cover 10,000 faculty by the year 2010.

On successful completion of the Mission10X faculty enablement workshops, the participating faculty member will be entitled to various recognitions and facilities subject to the fulfillment of certain requirements like presentation and assignments, Mission10X provides its participants an opportunity to acquire the three certific ates that will contribute towards their professional development such as Mission10X Dale Carnegie Certificate in High Impact Teaching Skills, Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers and Trainers Mission10X Certificate in Teaching and Learning
